Please read the following rules carefully and take the time to understand them. You must follow these rules when in the city or the Discord. Ignorance of the rules is not a valid excuse. These rules will be updated at staff discretion as a living document. Members of the community will be notified of changes made, and changes will be discussed at Community Meetings. Any issues between players will be resolved in accordance with these rules. Violation of these rules will be taken seriously and punished accordingly.

General Rules

1.0 Terms of Service & Community Guidelines

1.0.1 The following Terms of Service and Community Guidelines must be observed at all times while accessing the Escape RP Discord and Escape RP FiveM server. Breaking any of these terms will be considered a violation of the Escape RP rules and you will be subject to punishment.

Keep in mind :

anyone you encounter in the city may be streaming or recording! Always conduct yourself as though you are being recorded because you likely are.

1.1 Staff interactions

1.1.1 Arguing with, insulting, or otherwise harassing Escape RP staff is a bannable offense. Please treat others how you would like to be treated. The staff team dedicate their time to make this city a better place for everyone. All staff decisions are final.

1.1.2 Staff reserves the right to ban any person from the server at any time for any length of time if they are found to be disruptive or if we have a valid reason to think that they are here to be disruptive rather than contribute to the quality of the community and roleplay.

1.1.3 Impersonation of staff such as admins, moderators, developers, etc. in game or in Discord will result in an immediate, permanent ban with no chance of appeal.

1.1.4 Reports of staff abuse of power are taken extremely seriously. If you believe a something improper has taken place open a Staff Report Ticket and provide all relevant information.

1.1.5 Do not approach staff in the city in an OOC (out of character) manner or using their OOC names to talk about bans, support tickets, new ideas or anything else. First offenses will lead to a warning, subsequent offenses will lead to kicks and then bans.

Remember that staff are roleplaying too! : Do not break character unless specifically instructed to by a staff member.

1.2 Voice chat

1.2.1 You must have a working microphone of reasonable quality to play.

1.2.2 While Push To Talk is not required, excessive background noise, feedback, or echo will result in a warning and subsequent kicks and bans if not corrected.

1.2.3 Voice modifiers are allowed, soundboards and voice clips are not.

1.2.4 Playing music through your microphone is not allowed as it is disruptive to other players and may put any streamers at risk of a copyright strike. DJ Booths should be used to play music.

1.3 Minimum age to play

1.3.1 You must be at least 16 years old to play, however exceptions may be made under certain circumstances at staff discretion and with demonstrated maturity.

1.3.2 It is not allowed to roleplay as an underage character without staff permission. All characters must be at least 18 years old in the city. Saying you are younger is considered Fail RP.

1.4 Discrimination

1.4.1 No discrimination, racism, sexual harassment or slurs of any kind are allowed and will result in a permanent ban (this includes text chat, /me, voice chat and Discord).

1.5 Bullying, harassment, or targeting

1.5.1 This includes personal insults, sexual harassment, excessive following, targeting, repeated attacking or killing, and any other form of harassment.

1.5.2 If you have been told by staff to avoid a certain person for some time to minimize reports and conflict you must do so until told otherwise.

1.6 No "rulesplaining"

1.6.1 If you believe a player has broken a rule you are expected to open a ticket in the Discord and provide supporting evidence. Staff members cannot act upon rumors and hearsay alone.

1.6.2 Do not break character to argue about rules. If you are in a situation where you believe a rule has been broken, you must continue with the scene. You can report any issues to staff once the scene is finished.

1.6.3 Going OOC (out of character) to tell a player they have broken a rule is not allowed.

1.6.4 Telling a player you’re going to get them banned will get you banned.

Do not interrupt a scene where you believe a rule has been broken because you are worried about losing your items. All improperly taken items, whether by a criminal or a Police officer, will be returned by staff if a scene is found to have been improper.

1.7 Forcing/encouraging rule breaks

1.7.1 Encouraging or forcing other members of the community to break rules whether by threats, offer of reward, or otherwise is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban.

1.8 Sexually explicit, violent or shocking content

1.8.1 Do not post sexually explicit, violent, or shocking content in the Discord or in game, whether via the Twitter app or elsewhere. This extends to anything that would be considered not safe for work, including text, images, videos, or links.

Remember : Discord & Twitch Terms of Service & Community Guidelines must be observed at all times!

1.9 Self-promotion & Advertising

1.9.1 Do not promote anything in game or in the Escape RP Discord without express permission. This includes but is not limited to other FiveM servers, Discord servers, or personal profiles of any kind.

1.9.2 Streaming is highly encouraged and promotion is allowed in the appropriate channel.

1.10 Don't DM, @ or tag/ping staff unless requested

1.10.1 Please open a ticket via Discord. We will be able to help you much faster.

1.10.2 DMing staff regarding a ban will result in an extension of the ban.

1.11 Reports to staff (in game and in tickets)

1.11.1 You must include what your problem is, do not send a blank /report or open a blank ticket, or just say “help”, “need staff”, or “need admin”.

1.11.2 Tickets will only be handled via text and never in-game or via a Discord voice call. Requests to “call me” will be ignored. This is to prevent conflicting accounts of a situation and allow oversight of staff members by senior staff members to ensure proper staff conduct.

1.11.3 If a reasonable description of the situation, relevant evidence, or player IDs, etc. are not given these reports or tickets will be ignored as staff cannot act on them.

1.11.4 If in game reports or tickets are spammed you will be kicked or banned.

1.11.5 Any reports involving other players must be submitted via a Discord ticket where you will be expected to provide relevant evidence. It is impossible for staff to take disciplinary action based on hearsay alone.

Using recording software while in the city is highly recommended in case of any issues. Some options are Medal TV, Nvidia Shadowplay, Radeon Record, OBS, or StreamLabs.

1.12 No intent to roleplay

1.12.1 As this server is a roleplay server, you must intend to roleplay. If your actions demonstrate that you have no desire to roleplay appropriately you may be removed at staff discretion, regardless of whether or not any other specific rule violations have been committed.

1.13 You are responsible for all actions on your account

1.13.1 Bans will not be overturned because someone else such as a sibling or friend was playing on your account. If your account is banned for cheating, exploiting, RDM/VDM or any other rule violation, the account is banned regardless of who violated the rule while on the account.

2. Roleplay Rules

Always treat others as you wish to be treated and show respect to your fellow citizens!

2.1 Do not RDM/VDM

2.1.1 RDM aka Random Death Match is killing other players without a proper RP reason or any interaction leading up to the killing.

2.1.2 VDM aka Vehicular Death Match and randomly running over other players in a vehicle without a proper RP reason or any interaction leading up to the killing.

2.2 Do not grief new players

2.2.1 New players are regularly joining the city and will need assistance from the community. These people could be streaming to friends or their communities, or trying to create a new story with their friends. Please help them out and show them the ropes!

2.2.2 Scamming, robbing, or otherwise hindering the experience of new players can result in punishment if found to be in bad taste.

2.2.3 Robbing Day 1 players is explicitly disallowed, however, attempting to abuse this grace period (i.e. lying about your time in the server to avoid being robbed) will result in a ban.

2.3 Do not break character for any reason unless given explicit permission by staff

2.3.1 Saying “Fail RP” while in a scene or threatening to report another player to staff is a bannable offense. You are expected to open a ticket if you wish to file a report. Even if a scene involves Fail RP you are expected to complete the scene and file a report afterwards.

2.3.2 This also includes walking up to staff to talk about server ideas, development progress, asking for things to be done, as these should all be handled via a support ticket rather than in the city. Remember that staff are roleplaying too!

2.4 Fail RP (FRP), Metagaming & Powergaming

2.4.1 Definitions

Fail RP is anything that can be considered an unrealistic situation. This is usually common sense, simply ask yourself these questions: Does this happen IRL? or Would you do this IRL? or Does this match your character's storyline, personality, motivations or abilities?

Metagaming is the act of using OOC (Out of Character) information within an IC (In Character) situation. Examples of this are game functions that wouldn’t be able to be viewed from the eyes of your character (IDs above head) or information gained from an outside source such as Discord (this includes communicating via Discord while in city).

Powergaming is a style of interacting with games with the aim of maximizing progress towards a specific goal to the detriment of realistic roleplay. Other players may consider this disruptive when done to the exclusion of all other considerations, such as storytelling, atmosphere and camaraderie. When focusing on the letter of the rules over the spirit of the rules, it is often seen as unsporting, un-fun, or unsociable.

2.4.2 Using voice/text via Discord or other software to communicate with other players in the city is metagaming and is not allowed under any circumstance.

2.4.3 You cannot have more players in your car than it has seats (e.g. escorting an extra person). For example you cannot use escort/kidnap to carry a third player in a two-seater car, even if that player is dead. This also goes for a fifth player in a four-seater car.

You should always place downed players into the seat if possible.

2.5 Fear RP & No Value of Life (NVL)

2.5.1 All players are expected to value their life when put in a dangerous situation and properly Fear RP. This means acting in a way that would be reasonable for a person who fears for their life e.g. when a robber points a gun at you ignoring their commands and refusing to RP the scene.

2.6 Win mentality

2.6.1 Roleplay situations should not be viewed from a “win/lose mentality” as your focus should always be on progressing the narrative and the story of your character. Your goals when in the city should not be on having the best items or making the most money but on having the best scenes and having good roleplay with other members of the community. Your character will take losses/get arrested/get killed and you should not get upset, lash out, or rage quit when a scenario does not go your way. Acting salty or breaking character is a form of Fail RP and is bannable.

2.7 New Life Rule

2.7.1 If you are fully killed (seeing respawn timer, not in last stand/bleeding out) you must forget the last 30 minutes in real world time leading up to your death.

2.7.2 You can be reminded of what happened by another person who was present at the time if they were not killed themselves.

2.7.3 You can be reminded of what happened by your bodycam if you have the physical item in your pocket and the overlay on your screen in the recording. You may be asked to provide proof of this if a report is opened as a result of a scene based on bodycam usage. Screen recordings in general cannot be used to remind you unless you were running the bodycam item. If the bodycam is removed from you, that footage is considered destroyed.

2.8 Green Zones

2.8.1 Green Zones are defined as:

  • Escape Tower Apartments extending from inside your apartment through outside to the edge of the parking lot to the street

  • Pillbox Hospital, its driveways, parking lots, and surrounding street

  • Mission Row Police Department

  • Blaine County Sheriff’s Department

  • The interior of any clothing store throughout the city

  • Premium Deluxe Motorsports (PDM) / Import Test Shop

2.8.2 Hostile actions against other players are prohibited in Green Zones. This includes any form of attacking such as cuffing, punching, stabbing, shooting, robbing, and hostage-taking.

2.8.3 All criminal activity including vehicle theft and drug dealing is prohibited in Green Zones.

2.8.4 Waiting on the border area outside a Green Zone to harm/kidnap/rob another player the moment they exit the zone could be considered griefing if it is in bad faith.

2.8.5 You cannot run into a Green Zone to evade consequences of a ongoing scene.

2.8.6 You are not allowed to fire weapons into a Green Zone from outside the zone.

2.8.7 Police are still able to enforce the law within a Green Zone. This may include questioning, cuffing, searching, confiscation of weapons/contraband and/or arrests.

Escape Tower Apartments and Pillbox Hospital will display a HUD icon while inside the Green Zone. While this icon is visible, all forms of combat are disabled. While this icon does not display in other Green Zones, the same rules must be observed in all of the above listed areas regardless of the HUD icon or your ability to attack others.

2.9 Out of character threats & insults

2.9.1 Personal, out of character threats and/or insults of any kind towards other players are not allowed whether in the game or in the Discord. The difference is words coming from your character, to another character, versus being upset towards the person behind the character.

Remember that things that happen in the city are happening to your character and not you personally. Do not bring personal insults into your RP. Do not bring toxicity to the Discord, player streams, direct messages, etc. If a rule has been broken you must make a ticket in the discord with your evidence - a staff member will be happy to investigate and take care of the issue for you.

2.10 Erotic roleplay (ERP) or sexual roleplay is not allowed

2.10.1 This includes situations where all parties are consenting as we allow players age 16 and up and we cannot be responsible for verifying the age of every player in the city.

2.10.2 You are not allowed to roleplay a nude character.

2.11 Body dumping

2.11.1 Killing someone then “dumping” the body in an unreachable location (e.g. ocean, pits, holes, mountains) with intent to make it more difficult for EMS to retrieve the body is a bannable offense.

2.11.2 A hard to find but still accessible location is allowed. Intent is key, and quality of roleplay will be taken into consideration. This rule is intended to prevent griefing, not limit roleplay.

2.12 Voice identification (Voice ID)

2.12.1 You are not allowed to identify any person by their voice alone

2.12.2 Clothing and vehicles can be used in part when attempting to identify someone but are not themselves proof. For example, shooting at vehicles because they are the same color without any effort to identify if the proper person is inside is still considered RDM.

2.13 Impersonation of whitelist positions including Police & Medical staff

2.13.1 You are not allowed to impersonate Police, doctors, EMS, or any other whitelist position. This includes wearing the relevant attire for these positions found in the clothing store.

2.13.2 Stealing police vehicles is allowed.

2.14 Spamming

2.14.1 Spamming messages in /me, /911, tweets, or /report will not be tolerated. If you're not receiving help please open a ticket in Discord. As well, spamming a staff member's DMs about a ban or requesting help is not allowed.

2.14.2 Abusing the scenes tool by spamming or placing messages that are inappropriate, insulting, or not roleplay related is not allowed. The scenes tool is intended to further roleplay scenes, not graffiti the walls.

2.15 Characters must be realistic

2.15.1 You must have a full first/last name, which should be capitalized properly.

2.15.2 You must have a realistic birthdate.

2.15.3 Default characters or broken looking characters are not allowed.

2.16 Scamming

2.16.1 Scamming players with no greater roleplay context is strictly prohibited (for example, offering to sell someone a weapon or item, then taking the money and leaving). These situations often lead to reports and a good rule of thumb is to not scam others to avoid being reported.

3. Cheating & Exploitation

3.1 Use of external software

3.1.1 Using any external software (e.g. add-on crosshairs, “mod menus”, etc.) to gain an advantage over other players or cheat the economy will result in a permanent ban.

3.1.2 Shaders and other cosmetic enhancement packs (sometimes called “contacts”) including but not limited to Natural Vision Evolved (NVE), ENB and ReShade are allowed.

3.2 Character farming & Paycheck farming

3.2.1 You are not allowed to use another player to transfer money, cars or items between your own characters.

3.2.2 You are not allowed to create multiple characters with the express purpose of giving the starting money to your main character.

3.2.3 You are not allowed to go AFK for extended periods of time to gain money from your automatic paycheck.

3.3 Exploits and glitches

If an exploit or glitch is discovered, please bring it to our attention via a ticket.

3.3.2 Benefiting from an exploit/hack/bug and not reporting it to staff is considered cheating and you may be banned for doing so.

3.3.3 Using unintended mechanics or bugs of the game to give yourself an unfair advantage over other players is a bannable offense.

3.4 Ban evasion

3.4.1 Using another account to evade a legitimate ban rather than opening a ticket to appeal the ban properly will result in a permanent lifetime ban.

3.5 Combat logging (a.k.a. head-popping)

3.5.1 Combat logging (or head-popping) is defined as quitting the game to avoid an interaction or consequence of your actions. Examples include logging out during a gunfight, while being chased by police, while being arrested by police, while being robbed by another player, while restrained/cuffed, or rage quitting in the middle of a scene.

3.5.2 Logging out while downed to respawn at Escape Tower is not allowed, with the exception of dying underwater in or in a place where your body cannot be reasonably retrieved by EMS or there are none online in the city at the time.

3.5.3 We understand that crashes may happen but if it is found that you have combat logged action will be taken. Crash reports are automatically saved in your files and you may be asked to provide these as proof of a crash if there are questionable circumstances.

We understand people have lives and responsibilities outside of the city and sometimes unexpected things come up. You will not be punished for leaving with a valid reason, but do not start a scene you do not intend to finish or will not be able to finish.

4. Criminal Rules

4.1 Server restart (aka Tsunami)

4.1.1 Warnings will appear 30 minutes before a server restart. A server restart warning signals a hold on all PvP robberies, bank/store robberies and heists. It is not permitted to perform these actions while a server restart is approaching due to unfair ability to evade retaliation or arrest.

4.2 Gunplay scenarios

4.2.1 Gunfights are expected to result from high quality RP scenarios and must involve prior interaction before initiating. You MUST point a weapon before shooting someone, you MUST ask questions before shooting someone, and you MUST show that you value your life. When deciding that you want to use a weapon, you must have a good reason to.

4.3 Four-person Rule (a.k.a. Rule of 4)

4.3.1 In all hostile criminal scenarios (robberies, heists, shootings etc.) criminals must limit themselves to a maximum of 4 criminals per scene. This includes drivers, lookouts, or anyone trying to further the goals of the criminal crew within that specific scene. If a group of 4 approaches a group with more than 4 to start a scene, the group that was confronted does not have to lessen their numbers. The larger group could not initiate the interaction against the group of 4 unless any excess people leave the scene.

The Four-person Rule applies to all criminals regardless of if you are a gang member.

4.4 Hostage rules

4.4.1 Hostage rules must be followed otherwise any heist will not commence and you will be barred from completing a heist for a day.

4.4.2 You can only bring one hostage per robber, for a maximum of four hostages.

4.4.3 Hostages must not be affiliated with you in any capacity. You cannot take friends or fellow gang members as a hostage. You cannot pay people to be hostages or offer them part of the loot in exchange for being a hostage. If you are found doing this, the hostage will be charged as an accomplice. Repeated offenses may bar you from heists for a period of time or may lead to a ban.

4.4.4 You cannot hold someone hostage against their will for more than 30 minutes real-world time. If the player is okay with continuing a scene past 30 minutes that is fine, but holding people against their will for excessive amounts of time negatively impacts their ability to roleplay throughout the city. Keep in mind not everyone has multiple hours to spare!

4.5 Criminal rules regarding Police & Medical staff

4.5.1 You cannot rob Medical staff under any circumstance.

4.5.2 You cannot cuff, attack, injure, kidnap, kill, or target Medical staff in any way with very limited exceptions. While it is against the rules to injure or kill Medical staff in the vast majority of circumstances, if they willingly put their lives in danger and enter an active scene, they may be killed like anyone else.

4.5.3 Medical staff cannot be taken or kidnapped outside of an active scene, they are providing a valuable service to the city and orchestrating a situation with the intent of kidnapping them serves no purpose other than making them unable to help other players when they get injured.

4.5.4 You cannot take a police officer hostage unless there are enough police on duty for the Paleto Bank heist (check scoreboard using HOME or /scoreboard).

4.6 Rules regarding robberies

4.6.1 You are not allowed to force players to remove funds from their bank via an ATM or via bank transfers during a robbery, this includes personal stash and 6 slot as well.

4.6.2 No robberies without interaction. This falls under RDM, however it pertains to multiple scenarios. If you are going to shoot, rob, or do anything to another player, you must initiate first. (i.e. Before you rob someone, you must be in an interaction with them. Examples would be confronting the player, or having an altercation etc.)

4.6.3 You are not allowed to rob players you did not kill or down yourself.

4.6.4 You are not allowed to rob police officers just to get police equipment. The only valid cases are (1) taking evidence or items removed from you by that police officer in a search as part of a larger scene, and/or (2) removing their bodycam item to "destroy the footage".

4.6.5 You cannot rob someone who is AFK.

While we do not recommend AFKing in the city and paycheck farming is explicitly against the rules, sometimes people have to step away and that shouldn't be taken advantage of.

4.6.6 Pretending to be AFK to avoid being robbed is Fail RP and you will be banned.

4.6.7 You are not allowed to use a Benny’s during an active chase scene. You are allowed to coordinate with a mechanic to get your vehicle repaired by another player.

4.7 Police & Medical baiting

4.7.1 Committing crimes or submitting fake 911 calls to lure LEO/EMS members into a hostile situation for the purpose of harming, robbing or kidnapping them is baiting and is a bannable offense.

4.7.2 Do not excessively spam 911 calls or harass police or Medical staff in the city.

4.8 Full face masks/Face covering helmets are probable cause to be searched by police

4.8.1 Wearing a full face mask or face covering helmet (even if hair/back of head is visible) is considered probable cause for police to initiate a search or request identification to prevent mask exploitation (keeping a mask on all the time to avoid being positively identified).

5. Gang Rules

5.1 Gang standards

5.1.1 As a gang you are a representative of the city. With that comes a great deal of power over how the city appears to new players. Constant rule-breaking, trouble-making, or general disregard for other players will reflect badly on the city and could result in the dissolution of the gang.

5.2 Gang recruiting

5.2.1 You are not allowed to recruit within a Green Zone.

5.2.2 Initiation roleplay is allowed but rules against RDM must be observed.

5.2.3 Quality roleplay is key when recruiting new members to your gang.

5.3 Gangs cannot exceed 20 members

5.3.1 You can have people your gang associates with in the city (e.g. doing deals, buying/selling goods, etc.), but you cannot hire more than 20 official members into your gang at a time. This is to keep gangs balanced and ensure gang members are active in the city.

5.4 Four person rule still applies

5.4.1 In all criminal scenarios (robberies, heists, etc.) criminal groups/organizations must limit themselves to 4 members. This goes for any kind of robbery and any sort of hostile situation. If a group of 4 approaches a group with more than 4 to start a scene, the group that was confronted does not have to lessen their numbers. But the larger group can not begin the interaction against the group of 4 as they are over the limit.

5.4.2 This applies to all criminals whether or not you are official gang members.

5.5 Gangs cannot own businesses

5.5.1 This does not mean gang members cannot own businesses.

5.6 Drive-bys are not RP

5.6.1 You need to roleplay a gang interaction or start beef prior to doing Drive-bys, Gang Wars, etc.

5.6.2 Breaking this rule can result in the dissolution of the gang.

6. Police & Medical Staff Rules

Police and EMS are held to a higher standard than the rest of the civilians in the city.

We expect to see high quality roleplay from our Police, Medical, and other whitelist jobs!

6.0.1 Definitions

  • Police (or LEO) is defined as any whitelisted Law Enforcement officer.

  • Medical staff is defined as any whitelisted EMS or Doctor.

6.1 Police and Medical Staff are whitelisted jobs

6.1.2 Being Police or Medical staff is a privilege which can be taken away if rules are broken.

6.2 Police and Medical staff corruption

6.2.1 At this time corrupt police and medical staff are not allowed. Stealing armory or evidence items whether for sale or for personal use is not allowed and will result in a permanent ban.

6.2.2 Medical staff cannot withhold treatment from specific players. Because Medical staff are forced to interact with all citizens of the city, if someone is making you uncomfortable in doing your duties or bothering you at your place of work, please report this to server staff immediately.

6.3 Police cannot return to a scene after being downed

6.3.1 If an officer is downed (bleeding out or fully killed) and recovered by EMS or taken to Pillbox, they cannot rejoin or continue to participate in that scene. This falls under the New Life Rule.

6.4 Medical staff cannot revive any person on scene without explicit Admin permission

6.4.1 This applies to downed Police, Medical, and civilians alike. This rule is intended to prevent unfair scenarios wherein criminals must visit Pillbox for medical treatment but Police are revived on scene and rejoin the fight endlessly, which would be a violation of the New Life Rule and rule 6.3.

6.5 Medical staff must value their lives

6.5.1 Medical staff must properly value their lives like all other civilians. EMS in particular will find themselves arriving at many potentially dangerous scenes. Value for one's life should be the utmost priority. For example, this means not immediately approaching the scene of a shooting to retrieve the body before Police have arrived to clear the scene, secure evidence, and assure civilian safety. The shooter may still be present, or may intend to rob the victim.

6.5.2 While it is against the rules to injure or kill Medical staff in most circumstances, if they willingly put their lives in danger and enter an active scene, they may be killed like anyone else.

6.6 Medical staff are not Police officers

6.6.1 Medical staff's sole responsibility is providing medical treatment regardless of the criminal status of the citizen.

6.6.2 Apprehending criminals is potentially dangerous and Medical staff are not trained to do so, attempting to stop criminals from fleeing, apprehend them, disarm them, or kill them is not valuing your life and a violation of rule 6.5.

6.6.3 The only exception to this rule is in extreme cases where self defense is required. If your life is placed in direct and immediate danger if action is not taken and there are no Police around to do so, you may defend yourself to the best of your ability.

7. Vehicle Rules

7.1 Usage of helicopters

7.1.1 Helicopters must not be parked in such a way that they obstruct the normal flow of pedestrians or vehicular traffic or obstruct a large number of parking spaces.

7.1.2 The area above the prison is a No Fly Zone for civilians. Civilian aircraft cannot be flown over or landed within the prison gates under any circumstance. LEO and medical aircraft are allowed within the No Fly Zone.

7.1.3 Helicopters can be used to pick someone up from outside the prison gates after a successful prison break.

7.1.4 Realism and value for one's life, the lives of their passengers, and the safety of civilians on the ground should be taken into account when piloting aircraft.

7.2 Weaponized vehicles

7.2.1 Some vehicles allow the attachment of guns/missiles/other weaponry. Usage of any of these weapon options is not allowed under any circumstance and is considered Fail RP. The vehicle will be removed from your account and you may receive a ban depending on severity of the usage.

8. Business Rules

8.1 Businesses have a max of 20 employees, including Owner

8.1.1 This is to ensure certain businesses do not have all the available employees while others have none, and so businesses are not used as paycheck farms and all employees are actively working for the business.

8.2 Business may not have more than two Owners per the boss menu

8.2.1 This is intended to ensure realism (how many companies have multiple CEOs?) and to prevent paycheck farming by making every employee an owner.

8.3 Businesses must be actively managed

8.3.1 Businesses are a huge element of roleplay, and thus need to be active in the community. Events, advertisements, and more are expected to be announced either in Discord or in the city and management should be frequently present within the city to address issues.

8.4 Businesses can be taken away

8.4.1 Businesses are a privilege for those who demonstrate a higher quality of roleplay.

8.4.2 If you are found to be exploiting a business, or are not active in said business, possession can be revoked and the business given to someone else.

8.5 Gangs cannot own businesses

8.5.1 Members of a gang can own or be employed by a business, but gangs themselves do not own businesses within the city.

8.5.2 Members cannot hire every fellow gang member into the business without going through a legitimate hiring process.

8.5.3 You cannot decline to hire someone simply because of a rival gang affiliation and must have another legitimate reason to do so.
